Sylvia’s approach to recruitment is grounded in both academic insight and real-world experience. She studied Work Psychology at The University of Sheffield from 2011, now part of the University’s Business School, where she developed a strong understanding of how the right people, placed in the right roles, are critical to organisational success. This foundation enables her to recognise how clearly defined organisational culture supports better hiring decisions and long-term business growth.
Beyond academia, Sylvia brings over seven years of hands-on experience running her own business, during which she has recruited and built teams aligned with organisational values and goals. Her deep appreciation of the role work plays in people’s financial stability, identity, and overall wellbeing led her to establish Linkwell Recruitment Limited connecting employers with talent that supports both business performance and individual growth.
